SERVICES
Classic Construction La Crosse is a full-service home remodeling company, that prides itself on forming a personal relationship with our clients. After working as a designer and project manager in the field of construction for years, I found there was a need for change. I started a family run business that provided an experience that was different and more conscientious to the needs and expectations of the people we work with.
From start to finish we are there to help you realize the true potential of any space. Our designs are based on the individual needs and wishes of each client, while managing and completing each project with integrity with a focus on high quality craftsmanship.
We only work with the best materials available and provide a 1 year guarantee on all labor. We never compromise quality for time and always give clients realistic timelines that accommodate their lives. We strive for personable and honest customer service, so contracts are only paid in full when the finished work is to your satisfaction.
Working with Classic Construction La Crosse has been a great experience. From my very first email (they replied in an hour on a Sunday!) to the finishing touches on our landscaping and pavers, they have been super. They are thoughtful and careful professionals in everything they do. Working on our project during the pandemic presented challenges in supply and materials beyond their control, but Sarah always found solutions! We are so happy!
After being shocked by a competitor’s outrageous bid, Classic Construction came in with a fair price and an excellent plan. Then they delivered – wow did they deliver. They constructed a gorgeous lower patio with lovely staircase and landscaping, all within schedule. They were professional and so pleasant to work with and we now consider Sarah a friend. Thanks for helping us realize our dream patio!
Sarah and the crew turned a century old soggy, saggy front porch into a divided space that is a 4-season masterpiece plus entry alcove with (finally!) a coat closet. What started as, "I want a front door," became, "Can you just tear the whole thing down and start fresh?" They never lost patience and kept bringing back a new plan to meet my goals. In the end, they buttressed the roof to preserve exterior stucco, then rebuilt from the foundation up. The need for an entry to the new room gave the bonus of more light in a dark living room with a French door much like the home's original French door. They worked carefully when installing the new doorway to avoid cracking the exterior stucco or interior plaster and blended the work area smoothly into the wall finish around it. They adapted and innovated tirelessly as plans changed, materials were hard to get, or decor they tried to salvage and reuse broke as they removed it. Sarah is a wizard at finding "that perfect piece" to fit a home's style; she is as much designer as construction forewoman. Whether it's a period-appropriate modern door handle, real bead-board paneling, custom drummer-boy window inserts or a strike plate to fit an antique latch, she can find it or find someone to fabricate it. My new porch looks like it was designed when the house was built, but it's snug, solid as a rock, and will last at least another century. They generously invested most of their outdoor season on this project, and no detail was overlooked. The team works very well together; a request relayed to one person will quickly be known and addressed by the team. They want you to be satisfied and pleased with the results they produce. This was a very different experience from an earlier project with a different contractor, and I wish I had known about Classic Construction when I undertook the first project. The team takes equal care with technical planning and aesthetic execution, they are receptive to feedback, and they produce solid, attractive results.

I started working on “projects” with my father at a very young age. If he was building something I was notoriously underfoot doing my best to help. He taught me to design and draft, properly use tools, and always keep safety in mind. I stuck with my creative roots and went on to graduate from college with a BA in Art and a minor in Photography. And no matter what career path I choose I always found the most joy in creating and reinventing the spaces I lived in as well as those of my friends. So here I am, spreading creativity with the backing of a trustworthy and dependable hardworking crew!
